What skills and experience we're looking for

We are now seeking a Teacher of Religious Studies to join our school in September 2023 (July for ECT). The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject, able to motivate students and will bring new ideas as the school builds on its excellent status. The ability to teach a second subject in Sociology or Criminology would be preferable but not essential.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic and able teacher who would like to join a high performing school and gain significant experience to further enhance their career.

The appointment would also suit an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher, as the school provides a thorough and successful training programme. Applications from those wishing to contribute to other aspects of school life outside the classroom are particularly welcome

If you are enthusiastic to take advantage of a new challenge, then we would be delighted to hear from you. We offer a secure, supportive environment, a full induction programme for all new staff and continuous professional development.

We are happy to offer a tour of the school for any candidates looking to visit us before applying. To arrange a visit please email Mrs Becky Rose, HR Assistant (brose@hitchinboys.co.uk). Visit our website for further information on the school.
