Teacher of Religious Studies with Humanities
Main Scale - Full time - Permanent
Applications are invited from well-qualified teachers of Religious Studies with Humanities. This post is either suitable for an NQT or a more experienced teacher. A strong desire to motivate students and staff to achieve excellent progress is crucial in an environment in which “Pupils display a thirst for learning” and there is“…first-rate behaviour in classrooms and around the academy” (Ofsted, 2016).
The County High School, Leftwich is committed to building a team of exceptional teachers and leaders in a positive and supportive learning environment. There is a strong tradition of high quality induction and continuing professional development so the post can be adapted to suit an entrant new to the profession or a colleague with recent experience.
In 2019 students left the Academy with ‘Well Above Average’ progress – as measured by the Progress 8 calculation (+0.79). For the previous 4 years, progress has been at least ‘Above Average’.
