The Art, Design & Technology Faculty at Ashfield is a large and vibrant one, with a great team spirit and a fantastic set of outcomes. We have a strong creative ethos which runs through the core of all the subjects offered within our curriculum. We are extremely well resourced in our self-contained building, comprising of 6 multi material workshops, 3 recently refurbished Food rooms, 5 Art rooms, a darkroom, CAD/CAM Centre and more.
We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Resistant Materials to join our dynamic Art, Design & Technology Faculty from September 2020. Ideally, you will be a Resistant Materials specialist who is able to show some flexibility to fit the profile of a large, skilled, adaptable, flexible and successful team (Design and Technology GCSE outcomes 2019: SPI: +.64).
The person:
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being are achieved. The post would equally suit a confident and ambitious NQT or an experienced teacher with excellent subject knowledge, a willingness to learn and a passion for teaching.
