What skills and experience we're looking for

The Boswells School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher of Science. We are looking for the successful candidate to deliver high quality lessons to complement an already strong provision within our Science Faculty. It is essential that the successful candidate is able to teach to GCSE level. For a suitably qualified candidate, there may be an opportunity to teach A-level.

In 2019, 55% of our A Level students achieved A* to B grades, 88% of our A Level students achieved A* to C grades, 83% of our GCSE students achieved a Good pass (Grade 4+) in Eniglish and 71% of our GCSE students achieved a Good pass (Grade 4+) in Maths. The percentage of students who achieved the expected levels of progress in English and Mathematics was significantly above the national average as was the percentage of students who achieved more than expected progress in these areas.
