We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Science lessons, fostering a love for science among students, and preparing them for academic success.
Uplands Academy is based in Wadhurst, East Sussex, an area of outstanding natural beauty and is close to Royal Tunbridge Wells. It is commutable from places such as Brighton, Hastings, Eastbourne and Lewes and has approximately 800 students across years 7-13. Please note, our sixth form is closing from summer 2025.
In September 2022, Beacon Academy, together with Uplands Academy in Wadhurst, became a member of the MARK Education Trust (formally Beacon Community College Academy Trust). The acronym, MARK, was selected because staff who work in the Trust are motivated, ambitious, resourceful, and knowledgeable. This partnership will provide many exciting opportunities for professional development, and the sharing of good practice across the two schools.

We pride ourselves on our rigorous focus on the child as a unique individual, including our most disadvantaged and those with SEND. We ensure that the lessons our students receive our effectively adapted and inclusive, enabling them to be actively engaged in their learning.
