Post: Teacher of Science
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Start date: April 2024 or September 2024
We are looking for a talented and creative practitioner who ideally has experience of teaching Biology, Chemistry or Physics up to A level, or who is looking for the opportunity to develop their career by teaching post-16.
You will be joining a successful and thriving department and a dedicated team of colleagues, who share a vision of excellent teaching and learning. You will have a passion for education, excellent classroom management and will be able to demonstrate a commitment to enhancing student learning.
This is a permanent, full-time post. Applications from both experienced Teachers and ECT's are welcome.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have an unwavering determination to help every student enjoy, achieve, and progress from KS3 to KS5
- Can plan and deliver a range of challenging and outstanding lessons, to inspire students and develop their love for the subject
- Encourage students, to achieve to the best of their ability, in both their practical and academic work
- Have the highest expectations of themselves and others; being open to new ideas and challenge
- Will be generous with their knowledge and time and enjoy sharing resources and expertise
