Teacher of Science job summary
We are looking for a dynamic, passionate teacher to join our science team to help make a positive impact on the young people at our school. Science is one of the largest faculties within the school and we make great progress with our pupils and would like to expand our team to ensure we continue to develop our pupils to the best of their ability. We are a welcoming team that strive to provide an inclusive and supportive environment for our pupils and staff alike.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a good or outstanding classroom practitioner with a good understanding of how children learn
- Has a proven track record of raising attainment through their teaching and learning, making a positive impact within and beyond their own classroom
- Has a passion to make a difference in pupils’ lives
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate, inspire, lead and support colleagues
- Has a clear vision of pupil progress and commitment to school improvement
