What skills and experience we're looking for
We seek to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and energetic Teacher of Science to join our hardworking and successful department at Manor CE Academy. The ideal candidate will be focused on high quality teaching in Science at Key Stages 3 and 4, and have a passion for working with young people.This post would be suitable for newly qualified or more experienced teachers.The successful candidate will be:

What the school offers its staff
We are a dedicated, creative and highly successful team of ten teachers covering all three specialisms with two full time technicians,KS3 students have 3 hours of science a week following the national curriculum covering Biology, Chemistry and physics. KS4 combined science students have 4 hours a week while triple science students receive 7 hours following the Edexcel exam syllabus.The department occupies seven fully equipped laboratories, two prep rooms and a workroom. Members of the Science staff are leaders in whole school, and our culture of sharing ideas and strategies leads to innovative and dynamic teaching across the team.
