enthusiastic science teacher to join the team and play an active role
in the department as it enters the next exciting phase of its development. The
successful applicant will need to be a highly-committed, motivated ‘team
player’ who is always looking to improve their practice.
West Park is an 11 – 16 school based in Spondon
with 1482 pupils currently on roll. The school prides itself on exceptional

The science department at West Park
School (Academy) comprises ten science teachers with a range of
specialisms, three lab technicians and two specialist
science teaching assistants. It is a vibrant and ambitious department
