What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a gifted and enthusiastic science teacher to join the team and play an active role in the department as it enters the next exciting phase of its development. The successful applicant will need to be a highly-committed, motivated ‘team player’ who is always looking to improve their practice.

The science department at West Park
School (Academy) comprises ten science teachers with a range of
specialisms, three lab technicians and two specialist
science teaching assistants. It is a vibrant and ambitious department
committed to continual professional development, co-operation and sharing
excellent practice. Our focus is to motivate pupils with highly
engaging lessons and to develop pupils as well-rounded scientists. The
department prides itself on consistently achieving results which exceed
national expectations.
