What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you passionate about Science? We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative teacher of Science. The suitable candidate will be able to teach across key stages 3, 4 and 5.The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver high quality teaching that drives achievement and inspires a love of learning.You will join a supportive and dedicated Science team within the wider faculty of Innovation which also encompasses Technology, giving rise to many collaborative STEM projects and cross curricular opportunities.This job would suit an early careers teacher or someone who is currently working toward qualified teaching status.

The successful candidate will be:

Fortis Academy is a very large 11-18 academy serving a local area of high-density housing in Birmingham’s outer suburbs. The Academy is the largest employer in the ward, with over 200 employees.
