What skills and experience we're looking for
Havant Academy is looking to appoint a Science Teacher to work within our successful, dedicated Science Department. Since the arrival of our new Headteacher in September 2021, Havant Academy represents a school on a rapid journey to success. Clear and concise teaching and learning and behaviour strategies ensure every teacher has the opportunity to do what they do best, teach. The preferred candidate will:
*Be able to demonstrate a passion about the role of Science within education
*Be able to establish strong relationships and have excellent interpersonal skills Act as a role model in teaching through:
*Consistently outstanding personal practice
*Proactively seeking innovation in pedagogy through evidence-based practice
*Foster a climate of support, self-reflection and continuous improvement in other colleagues
*Plan, deliver and evaluate a range of lessons to ensure student success
