Teacher of Science job summary
Salary Grade: MPS/UPS (if post threshold). A leadership role (TLR 2) is available for the right candidate. Contract Type: Permanent

The science faculty at John Mason School is research informed and has developed a knowledge rich curriculum offer. The team are dedicated to the principle that, if taught well, all students can be academically successful. Leaders in the department work to ensure positive staff wellbeing and manageable workload. We have fully resourced schemes of learning and centralised behavior system.
Applications are invited from reflective, disciplined, motivated and inspiring practitioners. The potential for a leadership role in science (STEM coordinator) exists for the right candidate. If you wish to be considered for this, please outline your experience in your application.
The successful candidate will understand principles of a knowledge rich curriculum and have an understanding of relevant areas of cognitive science. They will be committed to personal development and will be well supported to improve as a teacher.
