Teacher of Science job summary
Saltley Academy is looking to appoint three outstanding Teachers of Science, who are ready to make a significant impact on our successful department. The successful candidates will have good subject knowledge and be able to motivate pupils through inspirational teaching. They will be joining a very well-led, vibrant and successful team, committed to providing a quality experience for our students and ensuring that they achieve their full potential. Saltley Academy is a 11-16 comprehensive school in the heart of multi-cultural Birmingham. The Academy is progressing fast in its mission to develop outstanding learners, ensure academic success and nurture happy citizens in a supportive and inspiring environment. We have recently retained our Good Ofsted judgement in May 2023. In our latest Ofsted report, it stated that “Pupils at Saltley Academy are happy and determined to do their best. The way in which they conduct themselves reflects the tolerant and inclusive school.” The Academy is also a UNICEF Rights Respecting Gold Award School.
