We provide high quality education for all our young people regardless of their background or starting point. Collaboration across our Trust family of schools enables us to share expertise, knowledge and best practice to ensure academic and pastoral excellence, with all schools embracing the same overall ethos and values, whilst maintaining their own unique characters.
Batley Girls’ High School is a 11-19 school and we are very proud of our achievements: ‘Students achieve exceptionally well in this outstanding academy. They make rapid and sustained progress’ (Ofsted, 2013). We have an ethos based around the ideas of Achievement, Respect and Transformation (ART). Respect for self, for others and for learning is at the core of everything we do. We are dedicated to investing in our staff and passionately committed to their development, providing a supportive environment where people can truly grow and flourish.
We are seeking to appoint an innovative Teacher of Science to join our successful and hardworking Science team. The successful applicant will be learner-centered and a collaborative practitioner. The post offers excellent opportunities for a committed teacher with good knowledge of all Science subjects and the ability to teach this across the ability range. Experience of teaching up to Key Stage 5 is desirable, but not essential and we hope the right candidate will inspire our young people to continue with Science subjects into KS5.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive forward thinking Trust, who in return for your commitment and hard work, will support you to achieve your own career goals and aspirations.
