What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to teach Science across the age and ability range; ideally, we are looking to recruit a specialist in either Physics or Chemistry. The successful candidate will be passionate about Science and committed to motivating students to reach their full potential. Science is a popular and highly successful subject at Claydon High School and the appointed candidate will be joining a well led and supportive department.

The post would be suitable for a new entrant to the profession or a colleague seeking to broaden their experience. Claydon High School provides an excellent support programme for newly appointed staff. Claydon High School is a popular, oversubscribed and friendly comprehensive school on the outskirts of Ipswich; we are situated close to the A14 with easy transport links across Suffolk and into Essex. We are a small school with 776 students on roll which means that there is a close working relationship with all the staff and students in the school.
