What skills and experience we're looking for

We have a fantastic opportunity for a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join Katharine Lady Berkeley’s School from 1st September 2024. This is a full-time permanent contract, which is suitable for applicants with previous teaching experience and ECT’s, to teach Science from Year 7 to GCSE and A Level (any specialism). The sciences are a popular choices at A Level where there are three groups for biology and two groups for each of chemistry and physics in each of Years 12 and 13. Accommodation for science is excellent with all lessons taught in science laboratories which have recently been fully refurbished. Early Careers Teachers will be appointed on Point 2 of the Main Scale to provide some assistance with the costs of travelling.

• a track record of successful student outcomes across the Key Stages;
