What skills and experience we're looking for
Wadebridge School is a popular and highly successful school located in the South West of England on the North Coast of Cornwall. We are looking to appoint a lively and enthusiastic graduate with a passion for Science. The position would suit both an experienced teacher or an Early Careers teacher. Ideally we would need the position to be filled for a September start but will negotiate a mutually convenient start date with the right candidate.

Further details about the role
Science has generous allocations of curriculum time and we deliver a spiral curriculum in both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will be required to teach Science across the full ability range at Key Stages 3 and 4. We start GCSE Science in Year 9 with around 80% of pupils studying AQA Trilogy and the others choosing separate Biology, Chemistry, Physics courses in both Science option groups.
The Science department at Wadebridge School is well resourced and consists of a committed team of ten teachers, three technicians and a subject specific HLTA who are supported and led by an experienced management team.
