Teacher of Science job summary
Woodhey High School are seeking a specialist Science Teacher to join our Science Faculty, following the retirement of one of our experienced teachers.
The successful candidate will be:

Woodhey has a successful Science Faculty that consistently achieves results well above the national average. Science is allocated 6 hours per fortnight in Years 7 & 8 with an additional hour in Year 9. Woodhey’s Science curriculum is available at http://www.woodhey.bury.sch.uk/Curriculum/. The successful candidate will teach all three disciplines at Key Stage 3, but teachers tend to specialise more at Key Stage 4. At Key Stage 4 the majority of pupils currently study AQA Trilogy with around 25% of the cohort studying 3 Separate Sciences.
