Teacher of Science - Biology job summary
Required for June 2021 or September 2021 start, an enthusiastic and effective teacher of science, able to teach Biology to GCSE and A level. Applications from experienced teachers and NQTs will be considered.
Our students routinely achieve excellent results. In 2019, 86% of students achieved grade 4+ in GCSE Combined Science, 100% in GCSE Biology, 92% in GCSE Chemistry and 98% in GCSE Physics. Biology, Physics and Chemistry are popular at Advanced level and many students go on to study Science at Higher Education.
This post may be suitable for an experienced or newly qualified teacher. Potential candidates may also wish to know that our admissions policy enables the school to prioritise the admission of children of staff recruited to posts in which there is a demonstrable skill shortage.

Ranelagh is an 11-18 coeducational, Anglican Academy (converter) which is oversubscribed and has an excellent reputation for academic achievement and positive school ethos.
