Teacher of Science (Biology Specialism) job summary

We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic and talented teacher to join our forward thinking, innovative, friendly and supportive faculty. The successful candidate will demonstrate integrity and a determination to ensure all students thrive within our provision by planning and delivering highly effective learning sequences which motivate students and enable them to achieve as well as forming excellent relationships with students, staff and parents, modelling consistently high standards and expectations.

We are a mixed 11-18 Academy with a comprehensive intake; the majority of whom live in the Pudsey Area. The proportion of students supported by the pupil premium is average as is the proportion of students supported at school action plus or with a statement of special educational needs. We have strong links with the Pudsey Community and work in partnership with Priesthorpe School and Pudsey Grangefield at Post-16 level.
