Teacher of Science (Biology) job summary

This post offers the opportunity to join a large, successful and supportive department comprising of 18 teachers and 3 support staff. The Department is full of enthusiastic and creative staff who regularly go the ‘extra mile’ for the students. Extra-curricular opportunities continually expand with Parents’ workshops, targeted Science sessions for underperformers, revision conferences, study visits to the Centre for Life, the CERN Particle Physics Lab in Geneva, Lake District field trip week and universities. There is a fantastic sense of collegiality amongst the Department and it is a great place within which to work.
