Job summary

Cottenham Village College has an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Science to join their team!

We are seeking to appoint a full-time, Science teacher to begin in January 2022, joining a successful and thriving science department. This position would be suitable for an NQT or for a more experienced colleague.

As our Teacher of Science, you will be:
• Teaching allocated students by planning their teaching to achieve progression of learning
• Positively targeting and supporting individual learning needs
• Maintaining high levels of behaviour and discipline
• Using performance data to evaluate students' progress and set appropriate targets for improvement

We are looking for individuals who have:
• Qualified teacher status
• Detailed understanding of planning the KS3 curriculum
• Proven experience of teaching at KS3, KS4 with excellent classroom management skills
