Teacher of Science job summary
Science is vital to the world’s future prosperity. A high-quality science education provides the foundations for understanding the world through the specific disciplines of biology, chemistry and physics. We are looking to appoint a dynamic science teacher who is innovative and inspiring, with the ability to deliver a curriculum that engages our students. The successful candidate will share our values, be passionate about their subject and inspire all students to develop a sense of excitement and curiosity about natural phenomena.
The post will involve working with the Head of Science on the strategic oversight, preparation and leadership across all science subjects and predominantly Key Stages 3 and 4. The postholder will ensure that students make progress through quality first teaching and have the ability to demonstrate their commitment to their subject and foster a love of learning with all students across all year groups. Chemistry as a specialism would be an advantage, although it is not essential.
