We have a large, thriving science department, with a deeply committed and supportive group of teachers and technicians working in excellent facilities. The department is motivated and ambitious for its students to achieve highly, and to continually improve the quality of teaching and learning. Our students make excellent progress – GCSE results are significantly above the national average and over 70% of students in the sixth form take science courses.

You will be a key member of the department, instilling a passion for science, and committed to the learning of all students across all key stages, regardless of their background, needs or prior attainment. You should be able to teach all three sciences up to GCSE and an A level subject. We are particularly keen to appoint specialists in the physical sciences (physics and chemistry).
