Further details about the role

Join our talented and dedicated team as a Teacher of Science - With a passion for teaching, combined with intrigue for all things scientific could you inspire our students and help them achieve the best possible outcome.

For the right candidate, the role carries with it a TRL responsibility working with the Head of Science to oversee and collaborate on our KS3 curriculum to further develop the pedagogy and secure curriculum progress.

Our aim is to ensure that our students are given every opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their background. With this in mind, we are looking to appoint a teacher who shares our vision for a learning environment and curriculum that is ambitious as well as supportive and nurturing.

As well as academic success, we focus on and take great pride in our students' behaviour. We aim for high achievement in an environment which is based on rewards, not sanctions. Working closely with our teaching body, our caring and experienced pastoral team are always on hand to help and support our students through their secondary school journey.

Being part of the Co-operative Group, we are both guided and driven by the Co-op values which are centred around a different, fairer and better way of doing things. These values are embedded in everything that we do within the Academy - they are our ‘Ways of being’;
