At Dawlish College, our mission is to eradicate educational disadvantage in Dawlish by making the best education available to every child in our community.
We work towards this mission by living out our three values – We Work Hard, We Work Together and We Make Things Better – every single day. This includes starting each day with a Warm Welcome for every pupil and fostering a strong community spirit among our staff.
One of our ‘new recruits’ from this September says:
“I’ve always felt really welcomed from the minute I got here – after about a week it felt like I’d been here forever. It feels like a little family here!”
Miss W – ECT Year 2 Science Teacher
We will provide you with the right environment to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and colleagues and the entitlement to become a better practitioner – every lesson, every day. This includes a bespoke CPD programme that features in-house deliberate practice and coaching with Steplab alongside participation in recognised national programmes such as Dylan Wiliam’s Embedding Formative Assessment.
