The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;

▪ An enthusiasm for Science and the ability to share this with young people

What the school offers its staff
The Forest School is a highly successful, friendly and dynamic 11-16 School, committed to achieving high standards and to developing the potential of all our students and staff. It is an exciting time in the history of the school as from September ‘21 the school had its first co-educational intake and now 40% of our year 7 students are girls. We already know that we are significantly oversubscribed for September ’24. This summer has seen our best Science results for a number of years with 80% of students achieving at least one grade 4 in science or above in the Trilogy GCSE. The school has invested heavily in refurbishment and redesign of three new, stunning, state of the art Science rooms with more to be completed soon. You will be joining a young, enthusiastic team who are always looking for ways to innovate and excite students about Science.
