What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher who can demonstrate exceptional classroom practice that reflects contemporary and traditional thinking in teaching and learning. They will have a clear vision to continue the success of the department and help pupils to develop their skills and knowledge in Science to the highest possible level within and beyond the curriculum.

Oaklands is a Catholic Academy, taking in boys and girls from 11-18. The school has over 1,300 students including a Sixth Form College of over 250 students. It is a well-established comprehensive school, which is well supported by parents and highly respected in the community.
Edith Stein Catholic Academy Trust (ESCAT) currently comprises two schools within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portsmouth. The Trust was initially formed in 2011. The Trust has ambitious plans for growth.
