What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and motivated, Science Teacher to join our strong Science team.

To be successful, you will:

  • Set high expectations which motivate and challenge students in a productive learning environment
  • Promote good outcomes by students, planning well-structured lessons
  • Have a secure understanding of their curriculum area and related pedagogy including: the contribution that their curriculum area can make to cross-curricular learning, awareness of new developments
  • Know how to use skills in literacy, numeracy and new technologies to support their teaching and wider professional activities
  • Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all students
  • Make accurate and productive use of assessment
  • Fulfil wider professional responsibilities with high standards of personal and professional conduct
