What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint a full-time or part-time Teacher of Science on a permanent contract from September 2024.

The Science department is based in a separate building with a large workroom. There are specialist labs with two prep rooms and technicians to support delivery of lessons. The team is very strong in terms of experience and knowledge and have an excellent working relationship. Triple science outcomes have traditionally been very strong at Kingsmead and we currently have the highest uptake we have ever had. Combined science is received positively by students and recent work to develop the curriculum structure within science is having a positive impact on students. This represents a very exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic professional to work with a great team of specialists to inspire our students to even greater success.

We are looking for a positive, energised and creative individual that will lead by example and help to challenge our students to achieve the best possible outcomes.

The successful candidate will:
