Teacher of Science (maternity cover) job summary

We are looking to appoint a well-qualified and highly motivated Teacher of
Science for a maternity cover contract from Easter 2021. You will be joining a department with a proven record of excellent teaching and student progress being significantly above the national average. The successful candidate will:

• be passionate about teaching and learning
• support the development of learning and teaching strategies within Science
• be able to demonstrate success in teaching KS3 and KS4 students of all abilities
• Enjoys working with children and will go the extra mile.
• Has the ability to teach outstanding lessons
• Has the highest expectations for the attainment of all young people.
• Enjoys working as part of a team.
