Teacher of Science (maternity cover) job summary

The Taunton Academy is looking to appoint a committed, caring and inspirational Teacher of Science to provide maternity cover for a fixed-term period commencing January 2020. We are seeking an outstanding candidate with a passion for science to motivate and enthuse students, deepening their knowledge and understanding. In addition to this, the successful teacher will manage behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful and nurturing environment so that students can focus on learning. This vacancy is open to both newly qualified teachers as well as more experienced teachers.
