We are looking for a well-qualified, inspiring and forward-thinking Science teacher to join our thriving Science Department on a temporary contract to cover maternity leave.
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver outstanding lessons across the ability range up to GCSE.
- Be able to inspire, motivate and challenge students ensuring all students achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Be able to demonstrate and model excellence in the classroom.
- Have excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Science.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and share the school's vision and ethos.
- Have an ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
- Have a commitment to safeguarding.

The Burgate School and Sixth Form converted to a Single Academy Trust in May 2011.
