There is an opportunity to join our team as a secondary Science teacher. We are looking for a suitably qualified teacher to cover a maternity leave and teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Science. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in gaining experience in a special school and developing their classroom expertise.
Teach Key Stage 3 and key Stage 4 lessons to pupils with a range of abilities
Establish positive relationships with a class as a tutor
Develop knowledge and skills linked to teaching pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
Be a qualified and experience teacher of Science
Be confident in planning and delivering engaging lessons
Be prepared to develop schemes of learning and take responsibility for monitoring and assessment
Possess real strengths in developing relationships with pupils and supporting their engagement in learning
Be prepared to get involved in the wider life of the school
