What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious, and creative teacher to join our science faculty. You will join a highly successful school, with an expectation to strive for excellence at every opportunity, and commitment to sharing practice with others. This is a full-time permanent post where the ability to teach a specialism – chemistry, physics or biology - at Key Stage 4 and 5 would be desirable. Applications from ECTs and those considering part-time hours are welcomed.
The successful candidate will:
- be an excellent classroom teacher able to teach throughout the age and ability range (Key Stage 3, 4 and 5)
- be passionate about science and be able to inspire a similar enthusiasm in our students
- be committed to raising the attainment of all students, particularly those who are disadvantaged
- demonstrate excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- be committed to supporting and contributing to our school ethos of Succeeding Together and the values of Wisdom, Optimism, Resilience, Kindness and Service
