What skills and experience we're looking for
Required for September 2023, an outstanding teacher to join our STEM team to deliver A level Physics,
You will join a small and friendly STEM team which has the capacity to grow in the coming years. Ideally, candidates will have an enthusiasm and the ability to teach a second STEM based subject at KS5.
We welcome applicants who wish to transition into A level teaching as well as applications from recently qualified teachers, as part of the Magna Learning Partnership, we are able to offer ECT support and opportunities across secondary as well as in college.
Visits are welcomed.

Magna Learning Partnership is a group of primary schools, secondary schools and one sixth form college in Salisbury and the surrounding area. The core aim of our partnership is to improve and further develop the quality of education provision across Salisbury and the surrounding villages for the benefit of all young people in the area, by creating a sustainable education partnership that, through the achievements of its young people enhances the reputation of education across Salisbury. S6C is a vibrant, fun and inspirational centre of excellence where a passion for new technologies permeates all aspects of college life.
In September 2014, S6C opened its doors to the young people of Salisbury and surrounding areas. Prior to this, 40% of students seeking an A level education had to travel out of Wiltshire. We currently have 340 students and we are expecting to grow to 360+ next year.
In August 2018, we joined the Magna Learning Partnership, a multi-academy trust which comprises of a number of our feeder schools. We are working across the MAT, with the aim that over 50% of the young people leaving year 11 will remain within the MLP family for their post-16 education.
