We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic teacher of Science to join our team of dedicated Science teachers.

The Science department is housed in a newly built, bespoke Science block of 14 laboratories with associated prep rooms and facilities and is staffed by a team of energetic, dedicated and resourceful professionals who are supportive of each other. Our students are well-behaved, happy, engaging, and inquisitive individuals, who are proud to be Prince William students. We are passionate about providing them with the best possible education and they have high aspirations for themselves and look to us to guide them on their journey to adult life.

Prince William School is located in Oundle, within easy commuting distance of Peterborough, Stamford, Kettering, Huntingdon, Wellingborough, and Corby. This is an exciting time for the school as examination results have seen rapid improvement and the school is expanding. In 2019, 72% of our KS4 cohort achieved grade 4+ in both English and Maths, and 52% achieved grade 5+ in both English and Maths. The school’s Progress 8 score was +0.26, and the gap between disadvantaged and other students closed significantly for the second successive year, with the Progress 8 score for Free School Meals Ever 6 students being +0.04. In KS5, we achieved 56% A* - B and 79% A* - C, an average grade of B- and a positive progress measure.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality lessons for students of all abilities.
