Teacher of Science (Second in Department) job summary
- Be part of something life changing.
- For our students and for you.
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and forward-thinking individual, with a ‘can-do’ attitude and a real drive to enhance students’ experience of science in the classroom. This position would suit someone who is looking for the next step in their career, in a supportive community.
On the back of our recent Ofsted inspection, in which the academy was graded ‘Good’ in all areas, we now looking to appoint a Second in Department to offer leadership support in an ever-increasing Science department.
Due to our recent success, our school is growing and we are looking for Second in Department to join the team and support the Head of Science in shaping the department with an exciting curriculum offer. We have a new £1m science department and students who want to succeed! Ideally, you will be experienced in teaching Science across KS3, 4 and 5.
In return, we offer 42 Leadership Development Pathways to stretch your mind and expand your skills, enabling you to tailor your own career path. That path could embrace any of our 21 Academies across 10 Local Authority Areas, serving 12,500 learners. With Academy Transformation Trust, the sky really is the limit.
We are an open school and proud of what we do – visits are welcome.
