Teacher of Science

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional and well - qualified, inspirational teacher to join a small, supportive, high performing and forward thinking team.
The role will include the delivery of Science to all abilities from Year 7 to Sixth Form, providing you with the opportunity to build on and develop your experience to teach lessons across KS3 & KS4 & KS5.
Essential educational requirements
A good honours degree in a relevant science subject
Qualified Teacher Status
Essential skills and experience
A consistent record as an outstanding practitioner
The ability to teach your specialist subject across the age and ability range, up to and including AS/A-level
High levels of competence in monitoring progress and using data to secure improvement
A track record of developing quality teaching resources
A strong commitment to the vision of the school
The ability to build strong relationships with young people
The ability to secure behaviour for learning through appropriate strategies and quality teaching
The ability to work effectively within a team and as an individual
The ability to communicate effectively with staff, students and parents
