What skills and experience we're looking for
Glenthorne High School is a vibrant community where staff are appreciated and supported in their work, the school is looking to recruit a Teacher of Science, who demonstrates a passion for their subject and a commitment to raising standards for all learners. We have excellent teaching facilities with dedicated Science labs and prep rooms, the department fully embrace new technologies to support teaching and learning.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3 and KS4, across the age and ability range. They will be fully supported by the department team and benefit from our excellent CPD programme.
While the ability to teach Physics at KS5 is preferred, it is not essential. The post is open to ECTs and more experienced teachers.
