Swindon Academy is looking to appoint a well-qualified and dynamic teacher to join the school's highly regarded Science Faculty. As well as welcoming applications from experienced teachers and those relocationg to the area, the school can offer an excellent support network and induction programme for Newly Qualified Teachers who are committed to helping young people realise their potential.
It is an exciting opportunity to join Swindon Academy which was inspected by Ofsted in May 2017 and judged to be a "good" school. Inspectors noted that "Pupils are well behaved and ready to learn. Leaders have very clear expectations of appropriate behaviour, which teachers manage effectively and consistently.“ Swindon Academy is part of a United Learining Cluster with Nova Hreod Academy and there are opportunities for sharing good practice and joint CPD across the cluster.
We are looking for a Science teacher who:
- is passionate about their subject and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management
- is interested in the science of learning and is commited to continuous improvement
- can demonstrate excellent organisational and inter-personal skills and the ability to contribute to a team
- has clear vision, energy and commitment to all aspects of school life
