The Forest School is a successful and friendly 11-16 School, committed to achieving high standards and to developing the potential of all our students and staff, to cover a maternity leave. It is an exciting time in the history of the school as from September 21 the school we had our first co-educational intake. There is also significant investment being put into the school in the refurbishment and redesign of two new state of the art Science rooms as well as further redevelopment throughout the school. We are seeking to appoint an exceptional teacher of Science to join our highly successful Science team. You will be joining a young, enthusiastic team who are always looking for ways to innovate and excite students about Science.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;
Qualified Teacher Status
the ability to motivate students and achieve excellent results
excellent organisational and ICT skills
good subject knowledge
the capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team
An enthusiasm for Science and the ability to share this with young people
