Job description

We are looking to appoint a highly qualified, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher of science to work in a strong, colloborative team with proven results. First degree in a related subject

Essential qualifications

QTS or equivalent

Essential skills and experience

We are looking to appoint a highly skilled teacher with a passion for science, a “can do” approach and a willingness to go the extra mile. Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence are essential, together with resilience and an ability to work collaboratively.
Experience of high quality teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4 essential.
We expect a good knowledge and understanding of pedagogy together with:
- strong subject knowledge
- the ability to plan and prepare engaging lessons
- classroom management skills and the ability to lead by example
- ability to inspire, motivate others and build confidence in the classroom
