 We are part of the Success for All Multi Academy Trust with Redden Court School and Sanders School. As an employee you will be covered by our  excellent well-being support and medical cover programme through the School Advisory Service (SAS).  We take a collaborative view of learning where good practice is shared through a structured INSET programme within school and across the Trust. 
 We now have six new science laboratories within the refurbished building.  You will join a friendly team of 4 full time, two members of SLT and two technicians.
We use every opportunity to develop staff at all levels, we have a comprehensive CPD Programme and support staff at all levels to develop and experience opportunities to progress their careers. We were immensely proud that two of our teachers achieved national recognition through Pearsons Silver Teaching Awards in 2020. 
Staff well-being is very important to us and we buy into SAS Health and Well-Being Services which offers a range of services for all staff in the school. 
 

Teacher of Science job summary

 
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join our successful department.  Science is a popular subject, students achieve GCSE results above the national average and the uptake of Triple Science is high (50% this year).   

This post would be very suitable for an Early Career Teacher looking for their first appointment. ECTs  are fully supported by an induction programme delivered by the school and the Ambition Institute.

 The Royal Liberty School where “pupils are well behaved, respectful and courteous” and “parents value the sense of community, which is palpable throughout the school” (OFSTED February 2019). Royal Liberty School is a small, comprehensive, 11-16 school for boys.  We occupy a Grade II listed building on a very pleasant site.  As part of the Priority Schools Building Programme and Local Authority expansion we have undergone a full refurbishment of the school, ready for September 2021.
