An outstanding Teacher of Science is required for January 2020 or sooner in this over-subscribed non-selective, co-educational school which benefits from the state-of-the-art new buildings and is situated in a beautiful part of the South East coast. The School enjoys a good reputation locally, with dedicated colleagues and enthusiastic students. Staff hold high expectations for all students and work tirelessly to continue to raise attainment and achievement.
The successful candidate should be highly qualified, dynamic and able to deliver outstanding lessons. This post offers an excellent opportunity to work within a strong, successful and supportive department and would suit an enthusiastic NQT or a more experienced professional looking to further their expertise.

Recent experience of working with students across the secondary age range including GCSE
Recent experience in raising students’ attainment
An understanding of the use of assessment to inform planning
Understanding and interpreting data to identify and act upon underachievement and underperformance.
