What skills and experience we're looking for

Teacher of Science

(Fixed term post from September 2024)

This post will suit a dynamic, experienced teacher who is keen to teach Science. Applications are invited from all Science specialists, however an ability to teach Physics would be advantageous. Applications from ECTs are also welcomed. This is a fixed term position for one year.

The successful candidate will have:

  • The skills to immerse pupils into a love of Science
  • Ideally, experience of teaching able students at GCSE and A level
  • A passion for Science
  • An ability to use ICT for teaching and learning
  • A commitment to offering a rich variety of extra curricular activities
  • A willingness to contribute to the ethos of the school
