Wadebridge School is a popular and successful 11-16 secondary school located on the beautiful North Cornish coast. The school serves the two towns of Wadebridge and Padstow together with the surrounding villages across a large rural area. The school is a strong, single academy trust, and the most recent OfSTED inspection was in December 2019 when the school was judged Good.
At Wadebridge we constantly endeavour to balance an unwavering focus on progress and achievement for all our students with working tirelessly to support them in every aspect of their lives. Effective and caring relationships support our students as they develop the skills and strategies needed in order to remove barriers to their learning and/or social and emotional development. In 2020 our work in this area was recognised by Carnegie Centre of Excellence for Mental Health in Schools when we were awarded a Gold Award, and this was re-accredited in Autumn 2023.
