We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of Science for September 2025, who can demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, with a genuine enthusiasm to inspire a love of learning in our students. The successful candidate, ideally with a subject specialism in Physics, will join a stable, well-resourced, and very successful Science department offering a broad range of courses at both pre and post 16. The post would suit a newly qualified teacher or an experienced practitioner who is confident to teach up to Key Stage 5. The position has a potential TLR, for a suitably experienced candidate. The ideal candidate

  • Has Qualified Teacher Status and a good educational background including a good Honours Degree or equivalent.
  • Can evidence both curricular and pastoral responsibilities.
  • Understands and is committed to teaching standards.
  • Has high personal standards in terms of attendance, punctuality and organising workload.
  • Is an excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills.
  • Has a positive, enthusiastic, and professional approach towards work.
  • Has a willingness to undergo further training and development.
