Teacher of Science (Full Time or Part Time) job summary
We are seeking to appoint a highly effective Teacher of Science, preferably with a specialism in Physics or Chemistry, to work in our Science Department from January 2025. The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and high expectations. This is an ideal opportunity for either an experienced Teacher or an Early Careers Teacher. We welcome applications from candidates looking for full time or part time hours, renumeration would be adjusted accordingly.
In 2023 Wolgarston High School were top of Staffordshire with an average A level grade of a B+. We were recognised as a good school by Ofsted in May 2022. We have a track record of excellent results with P8 scores consistently above +0.5 and are committed to evidence-based teaching and learning and reducing teacher workload.
Science is a team of specialist teachers who are all committed to ensuring that students achieve their full potential and develop a love of learning. The Science Department are a strong, supportive team.
