The SENCO will be responsible for fulfilling the statutory duties associated with the role under the SEN Code of Practice and will lead and manage the school's learning support provision ensuring that all our vulnerable learners are supported and have access to the provisions and services they need. The school has an experienced and willing team of learning support assistants, mentors and behaviour specialists and a team of visiting professionals that support the children's welfare and mental and emotional health. It is essential that the SENCO forms close working relationships with our families of children with additional needs and is the in-school advocate for these children.
